I work with traditional and nontraditional materials, making a variety of paints from oils, acrylic polymers, inks, waxes, varnishes and enamels, including dry pigments and metallic flake, which result in luminescent reflective surfaces. Metallics, interference, and iridescent dry pigments, can create colors that shimmer and shift in tone and value dependent on lighting and positioning.

In my investigation of these ‘paperworks’, I’m seeking to the explore realms of time and space evocative of landscapes, external and internal, represented within the limits of a two-dimensional surface.
